THE DAZZLED
I looked into her ocean eyes
The bottomless pools of light
No more my heart, but my mind
Searched deeper for some lies.
She was like a thousand winds to blow
And I……on the
diamond glints of snow
She was the sunlight on the ripened grain
And I was the gentle autums’ rain.
She gazed me with so much emotion
I knew she had seen my soul
That moment was like a magic potion
Which freezed me ice cold.
No need to fear no need to hide
I gathered my courage, first one step,
Then another and finally a stride.
“Excuse me “, I
whispered.
“How may I
help you”, said she.
Cupid had struck on the very first sight
Those eyes dazzled me with their utter
delight
Confusion gave way to enormous self belief
Never had I dived in the love so deep.
The love grew with the nano of time
And feelings blossomed to the mega divine.
“Tell me
what you see in my eyes
And between our love shall wind”
“ I am
sorry, I can’t be that kind
I have seen your soul
but………. I AM
BLIND”
DAZZLED I got in the growing night
But not by glitters rather ABSENCE of
light.
